We created a template to print QR code on DK-1221 labels. It is a 1"x1" square label with rounded corner. Each roll contains 1,000 labels. You can use QL-820NWB, QL-1110NWB, QL-810W, QL-710W, and QL-720NW label printers to print these labels. These 2 gift cards were designed by a very talented, Seattle-based UX/UI designer - Mary Pouleson. Download the template and you will find out how easy it is to print 1, 100, or 1000 stickers. This template requires DK-1221 label roll. Notice that you can put your initiation in the middle and the QR code can still be scanned successfully. I would recommend no more than 2 characters, English or any language. Enter a URL link, or any messages inside the description field. As dynamic as it already is, you can still further customize it with your own logo and adjust the size and position of where you wish to put it. Always test it with a scan before mass production. A suggestion: make free gift cards for your local restaurant owners and allow them to generate income in advance by selling to their most loyal customers. To install: download this template, email it to yourself. Open the email from the device, tap at the file, and select NB201 to install. Once installed, it will automatically become the default template. Print away! Happy Holidays!!! P.S. give us a good review and we will send you a few of these wonderful gift cards you can customize.
We are excited to know that Name Badge app (NB201) runs nicely on the new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini that are based on the M1 chip. You don't need to buy the app if you already owned the app for your iPad or iPhone. The screen above shows our Name Badge app and the free Senior Assist app running side by side. You can also rotate the screen to landscape orientation. Imagine what you can do with your 13" MacBook Air. Open up Name Badge app, and perhaps open your Google Doc, or Microsoft Excel. Now you can freely use your keyboard and mouse to run multiple applications. Obviously running an in-person event is not recommended during pandemic. Do you know that Name Badge app can do many things? You can print the signages for your business, print or email coupons or gift cards, share virtual award certificates, make flashcards for your kids, etc. Can. you think of 201 ways of using this app? Happy Thanksgiving! Stay healthy and happy! (Note: the macOS app will support the following Brother printers: QL820NWB, QL1110NWB, QL710W, QL720NW, RJ2150, RJ3050, RJ3150, TD2120 WiFi, TD2130 WiFi, etc.)
NB201 and Brother sponsored DevFest DFW 2019 early this year. We have been very busy traveling, running and promoting our app at various events. This event was a huge success with over 300 attendees. The encore event is next month in October 2019. We have 2 QL-820NWB with 1 iPad and 1 iPhone to manage the onsite check-in. We made 300 badges prior to the event with printed postcard as background and they looked fantastic. Both printers were running on battery making them mobile. Setup took only minutes and one person was enough to manage all the last-minute check-ins. Average check-in time is less than 10 seconds. (P.S. it was a cold morning at freezing temperature but people in Dallas were warm and super friendly)
Our name badge app was used at the largest startup festival in Southern California. Brother QL-820NWB printer was used to produce over 500 name badges before the festival. Two additional QL-820NWB printers were deployed onsite to print 150 additional badges. A 4x6 post card was doubled as invitation card and the background insert. Two labels were printed for each name badge, front and back, with QR code for quick networking among attendees. Beautiful Princess Tatiana of Greece + Denmark was wearing this badge throughout the day. A special gold hologram sticker was adhered to her badge to give it a VIP status. ;)
Do you know that Name Badge app can do more than just printing the name badges? In the coming months, we will launch an Amazon Flash Briefing that will teach you things that you will never think possible. For example, do you know that you can print large vertical signage? Stay tuned and be happy.
Brother's new QL-1110NWB label printer is amazing. The minute we received it we have it working on our Event Management app. We printed a 6-foot banner on the new DK-2246 paper roll in just a couple of minutes. This is huge! We posted it outside the building and everyone from the parking lot can see it clearly. We will test it extensively and provide you all with a free update in soon. Can't wait? NRF 2018 concluded last week with a bang. The Retail’s Big Show is the world's most important retail conference, bringing together the largest gathering of industry executives from across the world. While Tommy Hilfiger spoke of the Power of Disruption, Brother's BMS Inc. again is hosting the big party at night. We are honored that they have chosen our Name Badge app for this special occasion. In fact, we are the only Event Management that supports Brother's RuggedJet RJ-4040 printer. "Works like a charm," said the senior manger from Brother Mobile Solutions, Inc.

Hero has a thousand faces, so should your name badges, especially for your special guests. Brother recently came out with a new product called P-touch ribbon & tape printer. It is designed mainly for weddings, party and craft projects. I immediately ran to the nearby Michaels store, where there are 27 specially designed ribbons available. I picked this gold on red satin ribbon (TZe-RW34). Then I run the latest Name Badge 2.8.1 app using PT-P900W printer, voila, it works! It is not totally effortless and I spent 5 minutes tweaking the existing Red Banner template. The result is a wow! The ribbon is just beautiful and elegant. I can simply insert the ribbon into the badge holder to separate my VIP guests from the "regulars." The ribbon, is $9.99, about 13.1' long, or 157 inches. Each of the ribbon in this photo is 2.5" and I can make 63 of them, or about 15 cents each. Feel free to contact me to get the template or just let your imagination run wild. See the ribbon in the middle with the QR code? Put your secret message there. ;-)
